Paracanthurus hepatus, commonly known as the Blue Tang, Regal Tang, or Palette Surgeonfish, is one of the most recognizable and beloved marine species worldwide. Its brilliant sapphire-blue body, jet-black patterning, and vibrant yellow tail make it an instant focal point in any aquarium. Active, social, and highly intelligent, the Blue Tang thrives in large, well-oxygenated systems where it can swim freely and graze throughout the day.

Origin: Indo-Pacific – from East Africa and Japan to Indonesia, the Great Barrier Reef, and Samoa
