Description

A versatile and popular surgeonfish known for its color-changing ability. Juveniles often mimic dwarf angelfish (especially lemonpeel or herald’s angels), displaying bright yellow with blue highlights. As they mature, they transition into a rich brown (“chocolate”) body with subtle markings and a more typical tang appearance. Active grazer with a sleek, oval body.
