Description

The Powder Blue Tang is one of the most stunning and sought-after marine fish, featuring a vivid powder-blue body, bright yellow dorsal fin, white chest, and bold black facial markings. Highly active and constantly grazing, it brings striking color and energy to reef aquariums but requires experienced care due to its sensitivity.

Indian Ocean including Maldives, Sri Lanka, and East Africa reef systems.

Lighting:

Moderate to high reef lighting.

Placement:

Active mid to upper tank swimmer. Requires large open swimming space with plenty of live rock for grazing. Minimum tank size: 125 gallons (475+ liters).

Diet:
