Description
Duncanopsammia axifuga, commonly known as the Duncan Coral, is a highly regarded large-polyp stony (LPS) coral prized for its long, flowing polyps and exceptional feeding response. Featuring extended tentacles with rounded tips emerging from sturdy tubular skeletons, Duncan Coral adds movement and depth to reef aquariums while remaining one of the most peaceful and personable LPS species available. Its responsiveness to feeding and tolerance of a wide range of conditions make it a favorite among both novice and experienced reef keepers.
Native to Australian reef environments, Duncan Coral thrives in stable aquariums where moderate lighting and gentle flow allow for full polyp extension.
