Yellow Candy Hogfish – Bodianus bimaculatus
Bodianus bimaculatus, commonly known as the Yellow Candy Hogfish or Twinspot Hogfish, is a vibrant and compact species admired for its bright yellow body accented by two distinct black spots—one on the dorsal fin and another near the tail base. Found in deeper reef zones, this small wrasse is both hardy and bold, bringing a splash of color and personality to reef aquariums while remaining manageable in size and behavior.
