Description
Blackcap Basslet (Gramma melacara) is a striking deepwater reef fish recognized by its vivid purple body and contrasting black coloration across the head and dorsal area. It is a peaceful, secretive species that spends much of its time around caves and shaded areas within the rockwork. It is well suited to mature reef aquariums and can coexist with a wide range of peaceful reef fish.
