Redtooth Triggerfish – Odonus niger

Odonus niger, commonly known as the Redtooth Triggerfish or Niger Trigger, is a graceful and active reef species easily recognized by its deep blue to purple body, elongated tail lobes, and distinctive red teeth that give the species its name. Unlike many of its relatives, it is generally peaceful and social when kept in spacious aquariums, making it a popular choice for both display and community setups.

Origin: Indo-Pacific – from the Maldives and Indonesia to Fiji and the Great Barrier Reef
