Description
A large, striking tang recognized by its tall “sail-like” dorsal and anal fins that expand dramatically when the fish is displaying or startled. The body is patterned with vertical stripes (yellow and dark bands), and the fins are often spotted. Juveniles are especially bold in pattern, while adults become more subdued but impressive in size and finnage.
