Description

This White Faced Tricolor Aberrant Scopas Tang (Zebrasoma scopas) is a rare, collector-grade specimen exhibiting highly unusual and naturally occurring pigmentation anomalies seldom seen within the species. Unlike standard Scopas Tangs, which display uniform brown to olive coloration, this individual features a striking contrast of deep charcoal to dark bronze body tones, warm amber highlights along the dorsal region, and pronounced hypomelanistic white patterning concentrated on the face, lower gill area, and caudal peduncle. The irregular white facial marking is especially distinctive and immediately sets this fish apart. The asymmetry and color separation are not stress- or lighting-induced, but true aberrant pigmentation, making this specimen a legitimate Collectors Corner offering rather than a standard morph.

The body shape is robust and well-proportioned, with excellent fin extension and strong overall presence. Aberrant Zebrasoma scopas specimens of this quality are extremely uncommon in the trade, and when they do surface, they are typically acquired immediately by advanced collectors seeking unique, one-off display fish.

This is a WYSIWYG specimen — the exact fish shown is the fish you will receive.
