Pulsing Xenia is a unique and fascinating soft coral known for its rhythmic “pulsing” polyps that continuously open and close. It features soft, branching stalks topped with feathery polyps, typically in shades of pink, white, or light brown. This natural pulsing motion adds dynamic movement and life to reef aquariums.

Indo-Pacific region including Indonesia and surrounding reef systems.

Mid to lower areas of the aquarium. Can be placed on isolated rock islands as it spreads quickly.
