Description
Thor amboinensis, commonly known as the Sexy Shrimp, is a tiny yet captivating reef invertebrate famous for its distinctive “dancing” motion, in which it constantly waves its abdomen while perched on corals or anemones. This shrimp features a translucent body accented with white spots outlined in blue or purple, giving it a delicate and eye-catching appearance despite its small size. Often kept in groups, Sexy Shrimp add charm, movement, and personality to nano and reef aquariums alike.
