Description
Midas Blenny – Ecsenius midas
Ecsenius midas, commonly known as the Midas Blenny, is a striking and highly charismatic reef fish known for its bold golden coloration and unique swimming behavior. Unlike most blennies that remain perched on rockwork, the Midas Blenny often swims freely in the water column, mimicking the movement and behavior of anthias. Its shimmering gold to deep yellow body, accented by electric blue eye rings, makes it an eye-catching addition to reef aquariums while still retaining the playful personality blennies are loved for.
