A rare and highly sought-after tang with a solid velvety black body and matching dark fins. Its sleek, disc-shaped body and extended snout give it a refined look similar to other Zebrasoma species. Native to a limited range (notably around Hawaii), it is prized for its striking minimalist appearance and rarity.
