Description

The Blackspot Hogfish is a striking, robust wrasse recognized for its elongated body, vivid reddish-orange to pink coloration, and distinctive dark markings around the head and operculum. The XXL size makes this an impressive display fish for a large marine aquarium. It is an active, powerful swimmer and an enthusiastic hunter that spends much of its time investigating rockwork for small crustaceans and other prey.
