Chelmon rostratus, commonly known as the Copperband Butterflyfish, is a distinctive marine species recognized for its vertical copper-orange bands, bright white body, and elongated snout. Known for its calm, deliberate movement and natural foraging behavior, it adds elegance and function to marine aquariums, particularly for its ability to help control pests such as Aiptasia.
Native to the Indo-Pacific, this species thrives in established aquariums with ample rockwork and stable conditions.
