Description
Flame Angelfish (Centropyge loriculus) is a vibrant dwarf angelfish known for its intense red-orange coloration and contrasting dark vertical markings. It is an active, confident reef fish that spends much of its time browsing algae and exploring live rock. Although commonly kept in reef aquariums, individual specimens may occasionally nip at certain corals or clam mantles.

Reef Compatibility
Generally reef-compatible, but not guaranteed reef-safe. Individual Flame Angelfish may nip at fleshy LPS corals, zoanthids, clam mantles, or occasionally SPS polyps. A mature aquarium with abundant natural algae and plenty of rockwork can help provide appropriate grazing opportunities.
Temperament
Semi-aggressive
Usually peaceful toward dissimilar fish but may become territorial toward other dwarf angelfish or similarly shaped species. Avoid keeping multiple dwarf angelfish together unless the aquarium is appropriately large and carefully planned.
