Description
Longnose Hawkfish (Oxycirrhites typus)
Description
A striking hawkfish with a long pointed snout, white body marked by a red crosshatch (grid) pattern, and bright red dorsal fin spines. Unlike most fish, it lacks a swim bladder and spends much of its time perching on coral branches and rockwork, watching for prey. Bold, curious, and full of personality.
