Description
Lyretail Anthias – Pseudanthias squamipinnis
Pseudanthias squamipinnis, commonly known as the Lyretail Anthias, is one of the most popular and visually dynamic anthias species in the marine aquarium hobby. Males are especially striking, displaying vibrant magenta to orange coloration with elongated, lyre-shaped caudal fins, while females exhibit softer orange-pink tones with subtle yellow highlights. Highly active and social, Lyretail Anthias bring constant movement and vivid color to reef aquariums, thriving when kept in groups that reflect their natural harem-based structure.
