Also known as the Hoeven's Wrasse or Tail-Spot Wrasse, the Melanurus Wrasse is a colorful and active reef fish featuring a green to turquoise body with intricate blue horizontal lines, a yellow-orange dorsal area, and a distinctive black spot outlined in blue near the tail. It is valued for both its beauty and its ability to control common reef pests.
