Description
A stocky, bottom-dwelling fish with a broad, flattened head, thick lips, and mottled brown/olive camouflage pattern. It has a very “rock-like” appearance and blends into rubble, oyster beds, and rocky bottoms. Known for its loud croaking or grunting sounds, especially during territorial displays.
