Description

Resplendent Anthias (Male) – Pseudanthias pulcherrimus

Pseudanthias pulcherrimus, commonly known as the Resplendent Anthias, is one of the most vividly colored anthias species available, with males displaying exceptional saturation and contrast. The male exhibits a striking blend of intense magenta, crimson, and orange across the body, highlighted by electric yellow accents on the dorsal fin and tail. Subtle lavender and pink undertones shimmer under reef lighting, giving this species a refined yet dramatic presence. Constantly active and graceful in movement, the Resplendent Anthias adds color, motion, and depth to open-water reef displays.
