Description

The Pincushion Mushroom is a distinctive and highly textured mushroom coral recognized for its dense, raised nodules that give the oral disc a pin-cushioned appearance. Thicker and more structured than smooth mushrooms, Pincushion Mushrooms offer strong visual texture and a bold presence, making them an excellent contrast coral in mixed reef and soft coral–dominant systems.

Native to Indo-Pacific reef environments, Pincushion Mushrooms are hardy and adaptable, valued for their resilience and ability to thrive under a wide range of aquarium conditions.
