Description

Scarlet Banded Wrasse – Stethojulis trilineata

Stethojulis trilineata, commonly known as the Scarlet Banded Wrasse, is a fast-moving and visually striking reef wrasse valued for its bold striping and constant activity. This species is characterized by a streamlined body marked with vivid red to scarlet longitudinal bands set against a pale green to bluish base coloration. Accents of yellow and electric blue are often visible along the head and fins, especially under reef lighting. Always in motion, the Scarlet Banded Wrasse brings energy and natural reef behavior to the aquarium, making it an excellent choice for active, fish-focused reef displays.
