Description
This Tricolor Aberrant Scopas Tang (Zebrasoma scopas) is an exceptional, collector-grade specimen showcasing highly unusual and naturally occurring aberrant coloration rarely seen in the species. Unlike standard Scopas Tangs, which display uniform brown to olive tones, this individual exhibits a striking three-tone contrast—deep charcoal to near-black body coloration, rich amber-bronze highlights through the dorsal region, and a vividly contrasting yellow caudal fin with irregular patterning. The asymmetry and color separation are not seasonal or stress-related, but true aberrant pigmentation, making this fish a legitimate Collectors Corner offering rather than a standard morph.
The body shape is robust and well-proportioned, with excellent fin extension and strong overall presence. Aberrant Zebrasoma scopas specimens of this quality are extremely uncommon in the trade, and when they do surface, they are typically acquired immediately by advanced collectors seeking unique, one-off display fish.
This is a WYSIWYG specimen — the exact fish shown is the fish you will receive.
