Description
This Purple Maxima Giant Clam displays an exceptionally vibrant deep violet to purple mantle with contrasting lavender, pink, and cream markings. The intricate fluorescent pattern becomes especially striking under blue reef lighting. The mantle extends beyond the shell and contains symbiotic zooxanthellae that provide much of the clam's nutritional energy.
