Ctenochaetus strigosus, known as the Yellow Kole Eye Tang or Bristletooth Tang, is a hardy and active herbivore valued for its constant grazing behavior and golden-brown to mustard-yellow coloration. Distinguished by the bright yellow ring encircling its eye and fine bristle-like teeth used for scraping film algae, this tang is both functional and visually appealing, making it a favorite among reef aquarists.

Origin: Central Pacific – primarily endemic to the Hawaiian Islands and Johnston Atoll
