Pseudanthias smithvanizi, commonly known as the Princess Anthias, is an elegant deepwater species admired for its soft peach-pink coloration and subtle iridescence. Males exhibit slightly more vibrant tones and elongated dorsal fins, while females remain smaller and more uniformly colored. Native to reef slopes and drop-offs, this anthias thrives in calm, mature aquariums that provide shaded areas, stable conditions, and frequent feeding.
